"My claim was started in November. On Thanksgiving. We are now in March. I can never get a hold of anyone on the phone. I tried calling Mike chai’s office direct and Norma is rude and argumentative over the phone. The most unprofessional conversation I’ve ever had. Instead of her just simply looking at the phone records which would show the lack of communication between my adjuster and I, or seeing a claim open since Thanksgiving and feeling like that may be unacceptable , she shouted over me. “It says here someone called you back on the 7th”, which was two weeks prior. It seems like that is an acceptable amount of time to wait for a client in Mike Chai’s office. When I asked to leave a voicemail for Mike Chai she said there’s no voicemail for Mike chai and I have to leave all messages with her. State Farm keeps phone records for exact situations like this, so that they can keep track of phone calls. I used State Farm’s Mitigation company. And they had to let their own office know that work was delayed because they could never get a hold of my adjuster. (I uploaded all of that conversation on the State Farm app) We were temporarily rehoused in February. My contractor submitted his bid. And it has sat on someone’s desk for over a month now. And my family and I will have to move out of the temporary residence with absolutely no repairs done on the house UPDATE Don’t worry everyone. Mike Chai waited until the following week to call me. He said he would write an email to my adjuster. And you know what has happened since said email. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Another week wasted. It almost comical. I’m supposed to be out of the temporary rental next week. No work has been started. Can’t even get a call back. For anyone who has had similar situations, after my review I was contacted by a person who has a similar situation and there is a class action lawsuit against State Farm if you need further information please reach out."
